Grocery Shopping - a very cultural experience

While we were on the road around Ireland and the UK our daily grocery shop was one of our favourite parts of the day. We loved dawdling up and down the aisles checking out all the things that were different or finding familiar things in different packaging.

No guesses where we were when we took this photo!

Now that we are in Europe we still enjoy our supermarket visits but we spend even more time looking at the pictures on the labels and trying to translate the fine print to make sure we are buying what we think we are buying. I wish I had a photo of Mark's reaction when he found out what he though was fresh milk in Belgium turned out to be lait battu (butter milk). My attempt in Luxembourg freschen milken turned out to be more successful.
