Dehydrated, starving and bloody hot, we walked into a Tapas restaurant (there are heaps in Madrid) and asked for a table for four and before we sat down we had ordered four Cokes. Dad pretty much drained his in the first 10 seconds followed closely by the rest of us. We looked at the menu and ordered four Tapas dishes with another 3 Cokes and a beer (hint: The beer wasn't for Mum, Luke or I). We were served quickly and before we knew it the delicious meals were gone before our eyes.

We decided to get another three meals to feed our hunger. Sadly, the fish was off the menu so we only got the Iberian Ham and green peppers with hawaiian red salt. The ham was really nice but it defiantly isn't your everyday sandwich ham and the peppers were okay to me, but Mum really loved them.

With that under our belt we said good bye to the lovely air conditioning and stepped back out into the 35 degrees heat outside to get back on our tour bus (see Madrid: Bloody Hot).
