How to drink a 6 pack in 1/2 hour!

It is not very often that Gayle stops me from having a drink but in London, after a hard day of sight seeing, I had polished off two cans in half an hour and was looking for a third when Gayle put a stop to this idea as I was by now 'blathering nonsense'.

How could this be? Two cans was nothing unusual and I had always read that English beer was quite weak!

On closer examination we discovered that the alcohol content was about 10%. Doing the maths for a 500ml can we calculated that I had drunk the equivalent of a 6 pack in less than 1/2 hour.


You can guarantee that Gayle now makes me check the labels a bit more carefully.

I didn't get into much trouble in Sweden where you can only buy alcohol from very scarce Government operated outlets. But don't worry I have made up for the drought since then.
