Madrid's very own invisible man, we saw him on our way to the information centre, our did we imagine him in our dehydration.
I don't want to brag, oh wait! yes, I do love to brag, to all the Tasmanians freezing in the snow at school and work while we sat under an umbrella in the Plaza Mayor in 35 degrees plus temperature being automatically sprayed by mist to keep cool. Ah, I love life!

Back to the blog, we got on the bus and did the first route. We went past lots of icons like the Real Madrid soccer stadium, Cibeles Fountain, and Puerta del Sol. The tours were very architectural based, this didn't help when you were 100m away from the building when the recording went off and you thought it was an apartment building they were talking about.

We got off and got some lunch (see Tapas in Madrid) and went to the second route stop. We got to the stop and road works were being done in that area so we headed to the closest stop which also turned out to be closed so we had to walk twice the distance to the next stop. We finally got on and did the second tour.

We got off the bus and took the bus back to camp where we got straight in to the pool to cool ourselves off.
